"Two students..." Help please??
Two students in your class, Tucker & Karly, are disputing a function. Tucker says that for the function, between x=-3 and x=3, the average rate of change is 0. Karly says that for the function, between x=-3 & x=3, the graph goes up through a turning point, and then back down. Explain how Tucker & Karly can both be correct, using complete sentences.
it doesn't matter what happens it between the points, just that the value is 0 when x = -3 and x =3 . I took the unit 4 test too hun
Cool! Know this one? Two students in your class, Tucker & Karly, are disputing a function. Tucker says that for the function, between x=-3 and x=3, the average rate of change is 0. Karly says that for the function, between x=-3 & x=3, the graph goes up through a turning point, and then back down. Explain how Tucker & Karly can both be correct, using complete sentences. @lel1
thats the same one -_-
Oops, sorry. It didn't copy. Your friend hands you a graph of the performance statistics of the newest car to roll off the assembly line. He says "I know this is a translated graph of either x^3 or x^4, but I can't figure out which one." Using complete sentences, explain to your friend how to tell if it is an even or odd function, and how to determine the amount the graph has been translated. There it is.
