OpenStudy (da_scienceman):

a function is a relation between a set of inputs and a set of outputs with the property that each input is related to exactly one output...from this short definition, U should conclude whether or not this is a function?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it's not a function.. Is that correct...?

OpenStudy (da_scienceman):

why is it not a function?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because none of them relate to each other. You can't get it to work. x y 3 4 5 7 8 4 10 3

OpenStudy (da_scienceman):

ok great how will u suggest they relate to each other? at least it is a relation so they relate to each other following some secret pattern. Please scroll up and check if any input has more than one output. if not then it is a function!
