Hey there I need help with understanding the standard form of a line. Why X=9 has 0 for B?
\[ax+bx=c\] is the standard form of a line. im not sure what you mean with your comment can you give me a problem where this occurs?
I have to convert x=9 to the form
looks like its in standard form. if b is zero that means and I messed up on my equation. I forgot y ax+by=c plug 9 in for x and 0 in for b
I don't understand..could you go into detaiil please
because y*0=0
OK when you want someone with their math questions or whatever be prepared for it. You weren't clear in your explanation at all. But thanks for replying.
\[ax+by=c\]if b=0 then \[ax+(0)y=9\to ax=9\] where 9 in = to c and what more can I explain??
standard form is A x + B y = C in your case, A is 1 and B is 0 and C is 9. you get x = 9
