what are all the equations for sin cos tan cot csc and sec?? equations like this ---> sin^2(b) + cos^2(b) = 1 please name the rest for me))):
Here's a pretty good list I found. If you don't like it, just google trig identities. http://www.sosmath.com/trig/Trig5/trig5/trig5.html
A lot of them are really pretty intuitive once you understand how trig functions work. Like, sin(x+pi/2)=cos(x) because adding something inside of a trig function like that just shifts it over, and if you look at sine and cosine, you can see that if you move over by pi/2 in sine, it looks exactly the same as cosine!
@Kainui omg kainui you just saved my life )): thank you so much!!!
Yeah no problem! If you don't understand why those trig functions are true, sometimes if you just think about them or play with them a little you can figure them out. Sometimes you can't though, and it's not really that obvious, but there are little tricks sometimes. Later on you'll learn some other things that relate exponential functions to trig functions, and you can practically derive some trig functions pretty easily using rules of exponents!
