help?!??!?!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (p0sitr0n):

y=0. y=x^2+5x-3 / 4x-1. switch 4x-1 and y. gives y cannot be 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which is the answer then?

OpenStudy (jonnyvonny):

Substitute x with infinite; anything with a lower power is eliminated\[(x^4+51x^2+50)/(100x^3-21x)\] Anything with a lower power than x^4 is eliminated, so, it would just be infinite on top, which means there is no horizontal asymtope. I hope this helped, if you need more elaboration of this method, feel free to pst me. :)

OpenStudy (mertsj):

no horizontal asymptote
