which equation represents the line that passes through the points (6 -3) and (-4 -9) y + 4 = 3/5(x + 9) y + 4 = 5/3(x + 9) y - 3 = 3/5(x + 6) y + 3 = 3/5(x - 6)

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

first find the slope of the two points using this equation: \[\frac{ y ^{2}-y ^{1} }{ x ^{2}-x }\] then you the ordered pair (6,-3) to plug into point slope form: \[y-y ^{1}=slope(x-x ^{1})\] after you plug all of that in, you get the answer. try it and i will tell you if you are correct.
