What is the second term of (m + n)^5? A. 125m^4n B. 25m^4n C. 25m^4 D. 5m^4n

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I really think it's D but I'm not sure.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im not sure either, i don't know what the term means in this case :c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I understand it to a limit. How I was taught was that it would turn into m^5 + n^5 which is why I'm confused xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait a second i think it is D look here: http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=%28m%2Bn%29^5 in the expanded form the second "term" (i think) is 5m^4n

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok that makes more sense. yeah D.

OpenStudy (anonymous):
