Is the triangle formed by sides with lengths 5, 12, and 13 a right triangle?

The longest side is 13, so if this is suppose to be a right triangle, then 5 and 12 has to be the shorter sides, or the adjacent and the opposite. Then, by the Pythagorean Theorem, we should have that \[\sqrt{5^2+12^2} = 13\], which is right.

The longest side is always hypotenuse, if the triangle is right.
