I need an example of how to describe myself using the yo versions of verbs

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

the yo conjugation of verbs in the present tense commonly is taking the -ar, -er, or -ir off the end of the verb and replacing it with -o. for example, I watch television is Yo miro television. but if you want to say I am, you would use the verb ser with the yo conjugation of it which is soy. so if I want to say, I am tall, it would be Yo soy alta. if you are a boy, you would say Yo soy alto.
