B. You know it is not a solid line because the equation is not an equal to, and you know shading goes to the right since it is a greater than symbol.

The answer is B just go to https://www.desmos.com/calculator and put in just about any equation and it will graph it for you

okay i will fan one of you and medal the other one thank you both so much ! :D

No problem :)

It's important to understand it. First consider the line y = 1 - 3x Now rearrange so it's in a familiar format. y = -3x +1 Now we know the slope is -3 and the y intercept is at (0,1). Research slope and y intercept equation of line. This line goes downhill if going from left to right and it goes through the y-axis at y =1 They want everything larger than that it's the shaded region ABOVE the line y = -3 + 1. If you plug the equation into a grapher, you will get the answer but try to learn how to do this sort of question without one.

Good job @jam333 I should have done all the steps to explain it to her but I just figured what I did would be easier. :)

Where I live, they don't even let you use a calculator in university calculus! So everyone has to really learn their times tables!
