Hey guys i have a question about Albert Einstein... What did his equations do for the scientific world?? and Was he really crazy?
http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_is_Albert_Einstein's_equation_Emc2_important_today#slide1 this has a lot of questions that may help you. as for being crazy, maybe not the right term. he had trouble talking the first few years in his life and was uncapable of simple tasks. his teachers said he was mentally slow. he had many difficulties but turned out to be one of the greatest scientists alive. some people say his suits and shirts were identical but that can be related to OCD in some day. he believed in parallel universes and other life. but over all he sought truth in his work. he was too drawn into his beliefs to take care of his appearance but he is a genius. people say he had Asperger’s Syndrome but that does not make you crazy. we will never know the truth about this because he passed away before this form of autism was discovered. it was thought he went insane over a period of time but i refuse to believe it.
His work essentially helped write modern physics as well as the theories behind atomic energy (and wrote the President at the time of WW2, Roosevelt, on the potential threat of an atomic bomb should the US not pursue it). As for him being insane or a slow student, there isn't a lot of proof to that effect out there. He was a good student, had a professorship in Germany (and left the country because of the Nazis), and worked all the way up until his death. He even decided to avoid surgery to save his life deciding that it was time for him to go after having done so much. From all indications, a smart guy and a very humble person who had always hoped for the best in everyone regardless of race or creed. Was he right all the time? No. But at the same time, he always seemed to embrace exploring why he was wrong than in ignoring what others had to say.
