How do you find the variable on a graph?
can you be more specific ? The graph has axes (a horizontal and a vertical line). the labels on the axes are the variables that the graph is showing.
well, it's on my text book page .. http://ocas.pearsonschool.com/ph/cd/0-13-365946-8/index.html?pageid=281&token=53616c7465645f5f81d8086b402612535c05bb36548c352efd4d42aa1f0bb0bdac910c59b0106743211d5f73e68757a01aa7c21cd8986203d225aa23afe42a72ef07f866009a4e4b if the page don't come up, it's on page 237 c:
oops, forgot .. haha it's problems 5-10 also, i don't really know how to find the variables D:
The variables are the labels on the graph. the label on the horizontal line is always listed first in a table. the label on the vertical line is listed in a table second. For example, in question 5, you have number of pounds (or simply pounds) and total cost (or simply cost) the variables are pounds (along the horizontal direction) and cost along the vertical direction. The graph shows how much a certain number of pounds cost.
