2x - 3y - z if x = -3, y = 2, and z = -2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You plug -3 in for x and 2 in for y and -2 in for z. Don't forget to put parentheses around your variable numbers so your new equation will look like this: 2(-3)-3(2)-(-2). Then preform using order of ops. PEMDAS this means you need to distribute your - in front of the (-2) or before you multiply and then add/subtract or you may get the wrong answer
