Prove Theorem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

oh gosh. i looked at it and i had a brain fart. i literally just learned this kind of proof this week. all i can say is to prove a parallelogram you need just one of these: -opposite sides congruent -opposite angles congruent -consecutive angles are supplementary -opposite sides are parallel sorry. you can ask @Hero @jigglypuff314 or @kewlgeek555

OpenStudy (nikato):

@daniela.estrada u can prove BCEF is parallelogram using consecutively angles are supplementary

OpenStudy (nikato):

U will have to use a theorem that says if 2 parallel lines are cut by a transversal, then the interior angles on the same side of the transversal are supplementary

OpenStudy (nikato):

Becuz of that theorem^ u can say <FBC and < BCE are supplementary

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i can just put <FBC and <BCE are supplementary ?

Directrix (directrix):

@daniela.estrada ------- Steps ------- 1. △ ABF ≅ △ DEC 2. Seg FB ≅ Seg CE 3. Seg FB || Seg EC 4. Quadrilateral BCEF is a parallelogram Reason for Step 4: If a quadrilateral has one pair of opposite sides both congruent and parallel, then the quadrilateral is a parallelogram. Your task is to complete Reasons 1, 2, and 3.

lmfao, im slow i don't get it :c
