MATH QUESTION WILL GIVE MEDAL AND BECOME FAN ;D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How do i find the rate of change for an equation? 5x+3y=-2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The rate of change is the slope. So the equation of a line is y=mx+b.So that means we have to get 3y = -2-5x. Then we divide both sides by 3 which is y= -2/3-5/3x which is the same as y= -5/3x-2/3. The slope or rate of change is -5/3. Hope this helped.
