hi! can you give me a good example i can use for my correlation graph. it needs to be like a real survey

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

Here's an example: Checking the correlation between years of education and annual salary. You would think that the more education the higher the annual salary. No High School diploma 30,000 High School Graduate 35,000 and so on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know any real life examples? because i am not allowed to make it up...it has to be a real life event...like a survey etc...

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

Wow - I just thought it would be something you'd just make up.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if only its like that....but my assignment has to be a real one :/ and has to show a reference to guarantee its a real one..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if that makes sense :D

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

Yes it does make sense but I've never seen a survey with all the details published. Like my previous example, you would never see survey results saying "Those with a Master's Degree earn (on average) 75,235.79 per year."

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know.. its kind of hard to find one example :P i will keep on searching... thanks for the help! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well thanks for trying to help:D hehehe

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

Okay - yes as you know, not only will you have to find a good example but you'll have to find a survey that gives ALL the details (and has good correlation too).

Glad to help out. It seems some more folks have joined this discussion and maybe they can offer some suggestions.
