how can we find the angle of this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you have any of the side measurements. or a single angle measurement? if so i would break it up into 2 triangles.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@phi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ganeshie8can you help me

OpenStudy (arthur_ser):

Do you know what d, f and equal to?

OpenStudy (arthur_ser):

* and e

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no i totally don't know i an sending an ttachement

OpenStudy (anonymous):

plz tell me how i find the angles using this protractor the angles of quadrilateral ATTACHMENT http://www.mathsisfun.com/geometry/protractor-using.html

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know how should i keep the protractor as in the link the highlighted HAVE A GO YOURSELF

OpenStudy (phi):

Are you saying you have a figure on drawn on a piece of paper, and you have to measure each of the angles using a *real* protractor ?

OpenStudy (arthur_ser):

the center of the protractor ("+" sign) must lie onto the vertex of the angle you want to measure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry no attachement but i have a link if as i link if i use a protractor then i dont get the sum of 360 and i cheat the answer of above shape of rhombus but i don't know i should i use protractor

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in every corner i should use the same way? ok now i try to do that

OpenStudy (arthur_ser):

and the "0" of the protractor must touch one of the angle sides:

@wolf1728

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

Someone mention me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah tell me above attachment using protractoooor

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

The diagram you have in your first posting - is that copied from something else?

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

going away from keyboard - back in 15 minutes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i want to know about this above attachment that is using protractor

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i also want to know quadrilaterls making 4 angles whose sum is 360 but i am not getting 360 perhaps don't know the use of protractor as in above link MATH IS FUN...

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

Gone longer than I thought. Generally speaking in geometry, trig and so on you rarely have to measure or draw angles with such precision. Quite often, it can all be done mathematically. For example, for a right triangle that has one side 3 and another side 4, we can determine the hypotenuse by the Pythagorean theorem: hypotenuse² = 3² + 4² = 25 hypotenuse = 5 Then if we wanted to know the angles, we can say arc tangent Angle A = 4/3 = 1.3333333 Angle A = 53.13 degrees arc tangent Angle B = 3/4 = .75 Angle B = 36.87 degrees There we have determined the length of one side and the other two angles and we didn't have to draw or measure anything.

Also, it seems in the link you posted http://www.mathsisfun.com/geometry/protractor-using.html there are a lot of explanations and videos about using a protractor. Did you read all those explanations and view all the videos?
