Please help! What is the transformation that occurs to the equation y=2^x if the equation changes to y=2^x-3+4

@Callisto

OpenStudy (callisto):

If you have a graph y = f(x) and now you have a graph y = f(x) + k, where k is a constant > 0, then you are just moving up the graph by k units. Can you solve your question now?

I suggest using a graphing calculator and seeing for yourself. The only way to learn anything is by doing it yourself.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you should use parenthesis on that problem so we know what is an exponent, the exponent should move the graph left or right on the x axis

looks like this to me \[2^{x-3}+4\]
