Help?!?! I don't understand what happened...

OpenStudy (alyssajobug):

OpenStudy (alyssajobug):

I got that x>-3 and x>-6 but thats not an answer...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

before i try solving it i'll say this: if you have -x < 3 and you multiply (or divide) by -1, you must also invert the sign. so -x < 3 is equal to x > -3 you an plug numbers in to confirm this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm, i feel im forgetting something try making 2x - 9 a 2x +9 and see how it goes from there

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Loser66 im missing something do you know what it is?

OpenStudy (loser66):

I am sorry, I don't know.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@BlackLabel

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It should be the third option

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But i kinda agree with @IDAREYOU

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea i just dont recall how to do the problem but thats the integer sign or brackets its in so no negatives...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think your answer is correct but dunno

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[14 - 11 < |2x - 9|\]\[-3< 2x - 9 < 3\] 3 < x x < 6
