I got that x>-3 and x>-6 but thats not an answer...
OpenStudy (anonymous):
before i try solving it i'll say this:
if you have -x < 3
and you multiply (or divide) by -1, you must also invert the sign.
so -x < 3
is equal to x > -3
you an plug numbers in to confirm this

hmm, i feel im forgetting something try making 2x - 9 a 2x +9 and see how it goes from there

@Loser66 im missing something do you know what it is?

I think your answer is correct but dunno
OpenStudy (anonymous):
\[14 - 11 < |2x - 9|\]\[-3< 2x - 9 < 3\]
3 < x
x < 6
