You can do this one! Just combine like terms
OpenStudy (jonnyvonny):
@perdomo.arturo , if it helps, you can group the ones that are alike, like the "x"s and the non"x"s.
OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):
7x + 5x + 2x combine like terms
OpenStudy (anonymous):
So 14x-9 ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
you got it!

I don't see any like terms... what do I do?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Is everything multiplied?
OpenStudy (the_fizicx99):
What're the given options.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
There aren't any, it's an essay question.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
If they are all products then you would just the common exponents of the variables

of like variables
OpenStudy (anonymous):
and multiply the leading integers
OpenStudy (anonymous):
But the bases are different
OpenStudy (anonymous):
you could rewrite like this\[2\times5\times x^{4+1}\times y^{3+2} \]
OpenStudy (anonymous):
okay

I missed a 2 in the coefficients
OpenStudy (anonymous):
? where
OpenStudy (anonymous):
@perdomo.arturo
OpenStudy (anonymous):
in the front with the other 2 and 5
OpenStudy (anonymous):
So is the answer
2*5*x^4^+^1*2y^3^+^2
2*5*x^5*2y^5
10x^7y^5

The two you put in there should be in the front because it is a coefficient. Meaning it belongs in front of the variable not the exponent.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
So what would the steps look like?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
@perdomo.arturo
OpenStudy (anonymous):
\[2×2×5×x^{4+1}×y^{3+2}\]
