When you find zeros, for the first one, it means set x=0 and simplify. So do that to the first one and tell me what you get
OpenStudy (anonymous):
c? x=9? or x=-9
OpenStudy (luigi0210):
Wait, nvm, I think it's just asking to factor the top.. so if that's right:
x(4x-36)=0
x=0
4x-36=0
-------------------
x=36/4=9
------------------
So x=0, and 9
OpenStudy (anonymous):
okay #2
OpenStudy (luigi0210):
Just factor the top, and what do you get?

(x+4)(x-7)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
x+4 can cel and im left with x-7
OpenStudy (luigi0210):
Correct, so there's a hole at x=4
(4, y)
To find what y is, plug 4 back into x-7
OpenStudy (anonymous):
-3 c
OpenStudy (luigi0210):
Correct

OpenStudy (luigi0210):
Factor first
OpenStudy (anonymous):
(2x-3) (x+4)
-----------
(x+4)
OpenStudy (luigi0210):
Correct, and we have a hole, can you identify where it's at?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
isk :(

Well, we know it's at x=4, and both C and D have the same (4, 5) meaning it's that, now we just need to find zeros. So solve for x at 2x-3=0.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
how do i solve 2x-3=0 like this?
