OpenStudy (xmoses1):

Does this graph have a slope of 0?

OpenStudy (xmoses1):

OpenStudy (xmoses1):

@DSS

OpenStudy (xmoses1):

it is iether 0 or no slope i know that

OpenStudy (rajat97):

yes that line has slope=0 by observation , it is very clear that the line is parallel to the x axis and the lines parallel to x axis have slope=0 as x axis has its slope =0 and parallel lines have same slope sorry for the long description

OpenStudy (xmoses1):

no it was a good answer :) you explained it well!

OpenStudy (xmoses1):

i have another you might know

OpenStudy (xmoses1):

The y-intercept of the line whose equation is x - y = -1 is -1 0 1

OpenStudy (xmoses1):

if not that ok lol

OpenStudy (xmoses1):

I chose -1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (xmoses1):

01 is right then?

OpenStudy (xmoses1):

i meant -1 sorry

OpenStudy (xmoses1):

And it this answer 8/5? The y-intercept of the line whose equation is 2x + 5y = 8 is 8 4 8/5

OpenStudy (rajat97):

thanks for your compliment and you are a bit wrong i think so. the y intercept is the equation of the line is in the form ax + by +c=0 where c is the y intercept so the given line will become x-y+1=0 so the y intercept will be +1 and not -1(i think so)

OpenStudy (rajat97):

if 8/5 is the answer for this question , then you are right

OpenStudy (xmoses1):

oh ok thanks @rajat97

OpenStudy (rajat97):

it's my pleasure
