4^y=64^13. solve for Y. the answer is 39, but I got a way different one. Where did I go wrong? How do I solve it?

First, you want to make your bases the same. \[4^y=(4^3)^{13}\] \[y=3 \times 13\]

That makes sense, for some reason I was trying to multiply 4 by 16 which turned out to be a lot more confusing! Thank you monokerous!
