how can supreme court decisions be overturned?

OpenStudy (rose21):

The Supreme Court is the last stop for court cases. Cases go to the Supreme Court when a decision needs to be made that pertains to legislation or constitutional rights. When this court makes its ruling, it is final. There is basically no one above them to overturn it. One way to overturn the decision is by a constitutional amendment. This is rarely done. Another way is to wait for some new justices to be appointed and then bring another case before them that challenges the prior ruling.
