obtuse?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

vertex would be the middle letter. outer two either way would be correct so angle RPA

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

18 right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@jigglypuff314

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

correct :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yay! Which angles are always congruent? A.Acute B.Right C.Obtuse D.Reflex

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

right angles are always 90 degrees right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mhm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sooooooooooooooooo B?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

yep :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When an obtuse angle is bisected the result is __________ an acute angle. A.Sometimes B.Always C.Never D.Maybe

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

and obtuse angle is always between (not including) 90 degrees and 180 degrees. so if you bisect (divide by 2) a 179 degrees angle what sort of angle would you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Acute! All The time! ;3

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

yep :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

48? ;3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

10? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm starting to get it! Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

both correct! :D good job!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The types of geometry that mathematicians study are: A.Euclidean B.Non-Euclidean C.Both Euclidean and Non-Euclidean D.There are many types.

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

idk this one :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Convert the following statement into a conditional statement. "All squares are rectangles".

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It would be "if an Object is a square, then it is a rectangle".

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

I think so :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or would it be the other way around?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

no it would not be the other way around because a rectangle is only sometimes a square.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The inverse of the statement "If it is the summer, then I am swimming" is If I am swimming, then it is the summer". True or false?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

<RPA or <APR

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

True... (i think)

OpenStudy (pixiedust1):

True :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I thought it was false. As the statement = if p then q Converse: if q then p Inverse: If not p then not q Contrapositive: If not q then not p So the answer should be false. It would be true if it was the converse of the statement.

OpenStudy (pixiedust1):

Oh you were asking for inverse? I thought it was converse lol Yeah, this is a converse

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

yeah, okay, sorry, it would be false then :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Rewrite the deifinition "All Rectangles are Parrallelograms" in biconditional form

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

idk this sorry :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok then. I'll try to do a bit on my own!! Then I will come back and ask if I need anything urgently. How long will you be on?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

two more hours? maybe

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok. ;3 THanks for the help. I'll do some then be back in an hour. ;3
