I'm gonna discuss each answer for you. A.) Both did discuss views that the people could govern themselves. Just look at the title! "The people the best governers" That says it all! Both of these pamphlets were very persuasive and monumental in the fight for freedom. This one is certainly the answer. B.) Thomas Paine wrote the Common Sense pamphlet. Therefore, both authors were NOT anonymously. C.) It is not true that these were not historically significant. These articles sparked a fire in the hearts of Americans. It persuaded them to become a free nation. It made them want self-government. D.) It is not true that neither provided solid guidance for future actions. Both strongly encouraged a future with self-government, that was for the people, by the people.
