I have to write a love sonnet. I want it to start with Do you believe in love? Where do I go next?

I don't know what the next line should be. That's where I'm struggling with. @Loveless13

There is a standard form for sonnets, 14 lines, a certain rhyme scheme. check it out before too long. Usual strategy is to set up some conflict and then resolve it. So you could follow up your question with reasons not to believe, then end up with reasons to believe, or vice-versa. "Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?" Shakespeare wrote them in iambic pentameter, try it. "Do you believe in love or do you not?" is pentameter and pretty much iambic.

explore the depths of love. What does love mean to you? is it just a relationship between a guy and a girl? or the love you have for your family/friends. Love is simple, you should read Rabindranath Tagore's poetry. He mostly writes about love. I did an essay about "What is Love" for my philosophy class. If you need help, you can always ask me.

Do you believe in love? for love is vast....<-----I hope this helps.

Good first line @norzomt. Note there is a rhyme scheme for the classic sonnet, and it ends with a couplet, "Thy sweet love remembered such wealth brings, I distain to change my place with kings." (approx. last lines of Shakespeare's sonnet that starts, "When in despair with fortune and in men's eyes...."

The easiest rhyme scheme is the english one: a b a b c d c d e f e f g g
