Two-variable linear inequalities questions.
@kelliegirl33 Here it is. And again, thanks!
3x - 2y <= 4 -2y <= -3x + 4 y >= 3/2x - 2 ===> y int is -2 to find x intercept, sub in 0 for y 3x - 2y <= 4 3x - 2(0) <= 4 3x <= 4 x <= 4/3 or 1 1/3 ===> x int is 4/3 or 1 1/3 and as you can see on the graph, the line crosses the x intercept at -2 and the y int at 1 1/3. So your answer is : 3x - 2y <= 4
any questions ?
No ma'am.
:)
Here's the next one. I really can't thank you enough. :)
y <= 5
Man, you're good! I've only got 2 more after this one. Is that okay?
x < 4
3x + 2y <= 600 3(150) + 2(60) <= 600 450 + 120 <= 600 570 <= 600 (correct) 150 lbs of hamburgers and 60 lbs of hot dogs
Oh my gosh you are super awesome! You also explain the questions, which is really helpful! I only have one more, do you think you can do it?
I can try
Thank you so much! :D
3x - 2y <= 7 -2y <= -3x + 7 y >= 3/2x - 7/2 ==> y int is -7/2 or - 3 1/2 find the x intercept by subbing in 0 for y 3x - 2(0) <= 7 3x <= 7 x <= 7/3 or 2 1/3 As you can see on your graph, the line cross the y int at -3 1/2 and the x intercept at 2 1/3. and shading is above the line because y >= 3/2x - 7/2 (greater then sign is used) answer is : 3x - 2y <= 7 I hope I helped, but I have to go now. Good luck with this stuff :)
Okay. Again, thank you. Bye.
