OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so there is a total of 3 white marbles plus 7 blue marbles which is 10 marbles in total

they are asking u to find the probability of picking two blue marbles

i have the answer .

OpenStudy (abb0t):

The probability, first find the total marbles = 10 to pick white you have: \(\sf \frac{3}{10}\) Since marble is not replaced in totles. Now you ave 9 total instead of 10 and 2 whites. So now you have: \(\sf \frac{2}{9}\) So by multiplicative rule, multiply them to see what you get
