sorry, i'll write it out regularly-- 62.6 gal/10 months =6.26 gal/month which is pretty much the same as 6.3 gal/month. All we have to do is to divide the amount over 10 months and divide it by the number of months and arrive at the amount per month.

OpenStudy (mrnebula):

i dont get it

OpenStudy (mrnebula):

simplify the sentience plz

OpenStudy (mrnebula):

will u help

I'm trying to phrase this correctly. If we have 62.6 gallons of liquid flowing out of something over 10 months, then how do you think you would find how many gallons flow out per month?

OpenStudy (mrnebula):

so 62.6 divided into 10?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it should be 62.6 divided by 10

OpenStudy (mrnebula):

thats what i said

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then yes, you're correct

OpenStudy (mrnebula):

yay
