find the slope of a line parallel to y= -2/5x + 4/5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If another line is to be parrallel, then that means it will have the same SLOPE as the line/equation you are given. so, you have: y= -2/5x + 4/5 the coefficient (or the number) that is right in front of the 'x' is the slope. which is -2/5 the coefficient infront of the x, will always be the slope when the equation is in 'slop-intercept' form fyi ^_^
