A lemon has 31 mg of vitamin C. An orange has 51 mg of vitamin C. A grapefruit has 114 mg of vitamin C. Why might this statistic be misleading? a.the fruits are all different sizes b.grapefruits don’t have any vitamin C c.not all fruits with vitamin C are shown

What's the first thing that comes to mind when you think about how the fruit are different?

Different sizes?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Exactly. At least, that's what I think of, too. I'm assuming all the listed fruit contain vitamin C since they're of the citrus variety, so I can eliminate B. Option C seems irrelevant; even if you did list all citrus fruits, they'll likely be of different size, which will likely affect their vitamin C content.
