Given A = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5} and B= {2, 4, 6, 8, 10}, what is A ∩ B?
Just a quick question, what does the N mean again?? (between the a and b)
A intersection B so basically rewrite both A and B into one roster list, not two
haha, I said that backwards, just write out the numbers that occur in both sets ^_^ into a new set
Oh right, got it. {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10} I believe that is the answer...
A = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5} B= {2, 4, 6, 8, 10} they both have a 2, and a 4
I think it's {2, 4} they are doubled.
Yeah what @DemolisionWolf said.
the union of sets A and B would equal: 1,2,3,4,5, 10, 4, 6, 8
Oh I see, I was confused Demolision... sorry I gave the wrong answer.
this is an intersection, not a union ^_^ btw
Don't worry @Neon_Green thanks for your effort c:
Ur welcome :D
oh crap my fault read it wrong its not a union its the n and not the u lol im dumb forget my answer
U is for union, so you write all the numbers from both sets into one set ∩ is for intersection, so you write only the numbers that appear in both sets. ^_^
yeah @DemolisionWolf just realized the question is asking fro an intersection adn not a union lol
Hey, but at least you would've gotten it right if it was a union so c:
Well, it is now resolved and everyone Happy Happy Happy ;)
