What is the simplest form of the radical expression?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[3\sqrt[3]{2a}-6\sqrt[3]{2a}\]

OpenStudy (shamil98):

Think of \[\sqrt[3]{2a}\] as just a variable, let's say x.. what is 3x - 6x?

OpenStudy (shamil98):

You have the same bases so you just subtract the coefficients :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So its -3x? @shamil98

OpenStudy (shamil98):

yeah so plug back in \[\sqrt[3]{2a} = x\] \[-3\sqrt[3]{2a}\]

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

wait did you ask this before, i remember seeing this question before

OpenStudy (shamil98):

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):
