Please help? Can somebody explain to me how to do this problem? If tan(x) = -2/3 and x is in quadrant 4, calculate sin(2x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My answer is supposed to be in simplified fraction form, I don't know if that matters or not but just in case there is some confusion I thought I'd let you guys know. Please help me, I am extremely lost!

OpenStudy (loser66):

|dw:1387759876748:dw| got it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah I'm with you

OpenStudy (loser66):

so, AB =2, OA = 3 right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would say so

OpenStudy (loser66):

therefore, OB = \(\sqrt{2^2 +3^2}=\sqrt {13}\)
