Please help! The graph of the function B is shown below. Find B(1). https://media.glynlyon.com/g_alg01_2013/3/graph4.gif -1 1 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When I look over to x = 1, which is the same as b = 1, I see that there is a point at 2 Your answer is 2 Does that make sense?

OpenStudy (ttop0816):

ummm no ):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When the equation says B(1), it means the graph of B when x =1. This is why I looked at the 1 mark on the x axis. Are you with me so far?

OpenStudy (shamil98):

It says to find b(1) located on the graph. The function itself is b(x) = something b(1) means when x is 1, what is your value of B b(x) = y you're finding the value of y looking at the graph you see when x = 1 , y=2 so b(1) = 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When I looked at the 1 mark on the x axis, I went to see where the graph of the functions passes x =1. I saw that there was a point at 2 by looking at the dots.
