OpenStudy (lucaz):

I think there is a name for this: a³+b²+c=x³+y²+z a=x, b=y, c=z

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are you asking for some kind of property that relates to this?

OpenStudy (lucaz):

yes

OpenStudy (lucaz):

property, identity, I don't remember

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, I can't exactly think of a specific property that states something related to that. I would just call it simple algebra. @myininaya

OpenStudy (lucaz):

maybe it's just algebra =/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah. I would just make sure with a second opinion. Hey, @TuringTest , any thoughts?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how about identification ,comparison ...

OpenStudy (lucaz):

something like that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I guess "systems of equations" is also another possible term for it because there are multiple equations and if you plug in what one variable equals into another equation, the truth value of the equation still remains the same. I would go with that if you do not decide to use "simple algebra" as an answer.

OpenStudy (lucaz):

okay, it's not that important. thank you guys..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You welcome.

myininaya (myininaya):

Are you looking for the law that says you can have that implication? If so, it is the law of equality.
