OpenStudy (raffle_snaffle):

determine what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

each part of this complex function (imagery and real part)

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

\[\huge\color{blue}{ f(z)=\frac{1}{1-z} } \] \[\huge\color{blue}{ g(z)=2z^2-3z } \]

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

To find the zeros of each function set each one equal zero and solve for z. The y-intercept is the constant of the equation, if there is no constant then the y-intercept would be zero.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

z=x+iy---->complex-can not equate =zero----but g(z) is more easily...

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

What? I don't understand where is the z=x+yi from

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok see the solution :...

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

ARe you saying you see it, or you asking me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

What do you mean by Re and Im parts of each functions? Is that a new mathematical concept?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no.its about the complex numbers, real number are sublocal (i dont know what mean in english) of real numbers, and in the Cartesian shown by 2 parameter x (real part) and iy (imagery part)...

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Yeah, Idk that, weird but....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yap,Engineering Mathematics are full of this kind of problems, its very simple,i suggest you these books:

OpenStudy (abb0t):

did you multiply by conjugate?
