how do i find a domain for y=ln(ln(x))

\(\mathbb{R}\) for x≥1 look at the graph for ln(ln(x)) if you're still confused as to why.

thank you:) but i would like to know how to do it algebraically? does this work? (this is what i did) ln(x)>0 x>e^0 therefore, x>1 is this mathematically correct?

Yes. What you did is ok. you determined what values of the inner functions belong to the domains of the outer functions.
