Select two ordered pair points of your own. (Just pick any two points that seem relatively easy to work with.) Be sure to list these points for your instructor. Find the slope and show your work.

Hello and Welcome to OpenStudy! :) \[slope = \frac{ rise }{ run } = \frac{ y _{2}-y _{1} }{ x _{2}-x _{1} }\]when given points (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) so say if your points were (1, 1) and (3, 7) then plug in x1=1 y1=1 x2=3 y2=7 into the above formula :)
