A vector is written in __________ if it is expressed as an ordered pair.

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

Uhm, component form I believe it is..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

uh what!!??!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Component form, I believe, is when the vector is broken up into multiples of unit vectors. When it's represented as an ordered pair, I believe that's simply the coordinate form, or as a coordinate vector.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Although I'm not entirely sure myself, so...

OpenStudy (mathmale):

I'd go with "component form." For example, a vector with an x-comp of 5 and a y-comp of 8 would be written as <5,8>.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

The < , > is one of the standard ways in which to define a vector as an ordered pair.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright, I can accept that.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Cool.

Hope your skies are clearing up considerably! :)
