find the value of x, if necessary round your answer to the nearest tenth

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

can you tell if any of those segments is the radius? what do you think? PD? PC? or maybe PA or PB?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

notice that all those segments PA, PB, PD and PC originate from the center of the circle, and touch the circle, meaning all of them are radius to the circle, meaning all of them are of equal length now, notice the tickmark on DC and AB? what does that mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that theyre equal?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im not sure to be honest

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats the value of x though?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

anyhow, the tickmark means both lines with it, are equal to each other so, now we know that, all other segments equal each other and the other 2 lines are equal to each other too so PD = PA, PC=PB and DC = AB SSS side side side, both triangles are congruent and thus their angles are also congruents

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):
