.

OpenStudy (arabpride):

Im not that great at proofs, but how much more do u need??

OpenStudy (nikato):

Ok, give me a moment...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you so much @nikato !!!!!

OpenStudy (arabpride):

sorry....://

OpenStudy (nikato):

Ok, so <1 and 2 are supplementary and so are 3 and 4, right?

OpenStudy (nikato):

And by CPCTC <1=<3

OpenStudy (nikato):

I think those angles are supplementary by definition of supplementary. Then after u say those angle are congruent by CPCTC, u can use the supplement theorem

OpenStudy (nikato):

U can use CPCTC again. Or u can combine the steps

OpenStudy (nikato):

5. 1=3. cPCTC 6. 1 and 2 are supplementary. 3 and 4 are supplementary. Def. of supplementary 7. Therefore 2=4. Supplement theroem

OpenStudy (nikato):

Yea

OpenStudy (nikato):

But if u want, u can combine steps 4 and 5, becuz they use the same reason

OpenStudy (nikato):

Yea, that's it. U proved what u needed to prove. And no, 5 is CPCTC

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry i combined 4 and 5 to 4 so i meant would 6 be supplement theorem? no right

OpenStudy (nikato):

Oh, if that's the case, the next step would be definition of supplementary . The next and final would be supplement theroem

OpenStudy (nikato):

Yea, no problem
