How to find the domain and range of a sequence? 4,8,12,16,20 2,4,8,16,32

@primeralph here

OpenStudy (primeralph):

There are two sequences.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, I meant each. I googled how to do it but I still don't understand

OpenStudy (primeralph):

You can't really answer that question. The first one is positive multiples of 4 up to 20 and the other one is positive powers of 2 up to 32. There's no real basis for any domain or range. The closest thing I can think of is: 1. Domain is {1,2,3,4,5} Range is {4*Domain: 4,8,12,16,20} 2. Domain is {1,2,3,4,5} Range is {2^Domain; 2,4,8,16,32}

I was doing an assignment on arithmetic and geometric series and the question asked me to Explain any restrictions to the domain and range of my sequences. It's kind of hard to explain the question unless you knew exactly what the assignment was about. I guess...

OpenStudy (primeralph):

Yeah.
