help please, medals given !

OpenStudy (lexi724):

Triangle CAT is transformed using a translation. Triangle CAT is shown. C is at 0, 0, A is at negative 2, 1, T is at negative 1, 4. Which could be coordinates of C'A'T' after the translation? C=(0,0), A=(2,1), T=(1,4) C=(2,0), A=(0,1), T=(1,4) C=(0,0), A=(-1,-2), T=(-4,-1) C=(-2,0), A=(-1,0), T=(-4,1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is this geometry?

OpenStudy (lexi724):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok, hold on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh, do you know what the translation is?

OpenStudy (lexi724):

no it doesnt sau

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait hold on for bit

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its either the second or fourth choice, which ever holds the triangle to be equivalent to the first

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well, does it say where to translate it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the first choice is a refection over the y axis and if that counts as a translation... you got it!

OpenStudy (lexi724):

no @Romwil

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well, I say that it would be B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah, I say B and that it translated to the right cause A, it flipped, C it also flipped and D either I graphed it wrong or it is just wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so yes B, and it translated to the right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hope it helps

OpenStudy (lexi724):

its does ! thanks :D
