hartnn (hartnn):

i need a question that link does not work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How About This?

hartnn (hartnn):

got it, so could you find the co-ordinates of the 2 points on that line ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes -1,4 and 4,8 You walk Over Then Up Rigth?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*Right

hartnn (hartnn):

those are correct, now just use slope formula The slope of the line through points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) is given by : \(\huge m=\frac{y_1-y_2}{x_1-x_2}\) now, just put the values and find m.

Um...... I Have Already Taken The Practice and Just Need Someone to explain than give me the answer so i can tell my teacher and she knows that i understand.

hartnn (hartnn):

isn't that what i did ? i didn't give you answer, but gave you the formula you will require to find the answer ?

hartnn (hartnn):

slope = rise / run = change in y co-ordinate/ change in x co-ordinate = (y2-y1) / (x2-x1) thats where the formula cam from

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I KNow That But I'm NOt Good at this so i need the answer so i can better picture it and HOW you get that answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so..... can i have the answer?? Not Trying to be mean but there is no better way to explain it :-(

hartnn (hartnn):

-1,4 and 4,8 so, x1 = -1 , y1 = 4 x2 = 4 , y2 = 8 |dw:1389029531242:dw| why to get answer from me when you can find it on your own! :)
