OpenStudy (firejay5):

I need a help with #22, please show work, so it'll help my brain cope with the understanding of my dilemma.

OpenStudy (firejay5):

OpenStudy (shamil98):

that's more than a few

OpenStudy (shamil98):

first one, they are supplementary (add up to 180) so 80 + 11x - 10 = 180 solve for x.

OpenStudy (firejay5):

that's not what I meant

OpenStudy (shamil98):

Which problems do you need help on? Could you specify?

OpenStudy (firejay5):

Is 11 - 16 setting it equal to 180 degrees

OpenStudy (shamil98):

not all of them

OpenStudy (firejay5):

all of them but 15

OpenStudy (shamil98):

15 and 12

OpenStudy (firejay5):

well let's work 15 and 12 seems how there different kind of problem

OpenStudy (shamil98):

Okay, you see those sides? they are congruent. to solve for x you set them equal to each other.. 2x + 15 = x + 15

OpenStudy (firejay5):

x = 0, #15 next

OpenStudy (shamil98):

okay. 7 = x + 1 x = 6

OpenStudy (shamil98):

for 17 and 18, they are bisected so those two parts are equal as well all you do is set them equal to each other.

OpenStudy (shamil98):

5x - 7 = 19 & 3x + 3 = 4x - 4

OpenStudy (firejay5):

what about 19 - 22

OpenStudy (shamil98):

you would find the value of x and evaluate since they are asking for the value of the segment

OpenStudy (shamil98):

so for 19 4x - 1 = 3x + 3 find rq 4x - 1 = 3x + 3 x = 4 3(4) + 3 = 15 rq = 15

OpenStudy (firejay5):

thank you so much

OpenStudy (shamil98):

you're welcome :)

OpenStudy (firejay5):

I have to have someone or teach myself on how to do it, because my teach doesn't teach well. @shamil98 Is 16 a sum of 180

OpenStudy (shamil98):

Yes.

OpenStudy (firejay5):

@shamil98 The answer to 17 is 9 and the answer to 18 is 7

OpenStudy (firejay5):

@DSS

OpenStudy (anonymous):

19(2) = 5x-7 38 = 5x-7 45 = 5x 9 =x

OpenStudy (firejay5):

x = 9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3x+3 = 4x-4 solve for x

OpenStudy (firejay5):

I already solved that one it's 7

OpenStudy (firejay5):

@shamil98 I need help with 21 & 22

OpenStudy (shamil98):

TE = EV Solve for x, then evaluate for TE. Where TE = 4 + 2x EV = 4x - 4 4 + 2x = 4x - 4

OpenStudy (firejay5):

@satellite73 I need help with 22

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i am not sure what the algebra is there for isn't angle TSR = 65?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the other angle is 125 and if i am not mistaken the adjacent angles have to add to 180

OpenStudy (firejay5):

Thank you @satellite73 & @shamil98 It means a lot
