@Vincent-Lyon.Fr @terenzreignz What does it mean when a verb has 2 past participles? For example, the past participles of "werden" is "worden" and "geworden"... Source: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/werden#Conjugation

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

It can be due to the historical evolution of the language. In the case of 'werden', 'geworden' is the pp of 'werden' used as a verb (to become), and 'worden' is the pp of 'werden' used as a modal (auxiliary) to form the passive voice. Ich bin größer geworden. -> I grew up. Das Buch ist von meiner Mutter geschenkt worden. -> The book was offered by my mother.

Danke :)

Aber ich "ein spott aus dem tod ist worden" sehe in einen Platz...

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

It is because you are considering biblical texts which are written in an old-fashioned (16th century) German, where word formation and sentence formation are a bit different.

I see, thank you :)
