Graph the system of inequalities. Then use your graph to identify the point that represents a solution to the system. x > 3 y ≤ 2x – 5 (4, –1) (–1, 6) (–3, –1) (1, 11)

i believe tht the answer is B but not entirely sure and not going to put my hopes up high lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

X has to be greater than 3. I think that is all you need to know for this problem Of the coordinates given, there is only one with an x value higher than 3 (Which is 4) Am i missing something or does that seem right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And when you plug 4 into 2x-5 It is still greater than -1, which would be the y value. I think A is the answer to go with. Does that make sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ooooohhhh so its C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

makes complete sense thank u

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't get it . . . Why is it C?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

hmmm you're supposed to graph them, if I read correctly

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

and yes, you can always plug and test, but that's no the idea of this exercise

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because it said its still greater then -1and if 4 is x time 2 which gives u 8 subtracts 5 gives u 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so am i correct or incorrect
