When solving improper integrals, if you get the answer: -infinity +infinity = ?? Is the answer 0 or does not exist? The answer for the question only says the improper integral is diverging, which means it has no answer.

infinity is not a number, so you cannot say \(-\infty +\infty=0\) or any other number these are limit statements, not numbers
